The word yoga means union. Its practice prepares us and opens us to the possibility of union with our Creator, our Source. The practice of yoga is also the union and alignment of all aspects of our being—light and dark, male and female—as well as the union of body, breath, mind and spirit. The practice of yoga is the cultivation of a peaceful, focused awareness of our deepest spiritual being and an awakening to the abiding presence of the Divine—in nature, in all living things and within. For me, the practice of yoga is a way of being inspired—a way of aligning with Spirit—a way of living in Spirit. I invite you to come and be inspired at Sun & Moon Yoga.
